Summary

When his grey eyes found her, he felt his stomach twisting inside his body. Her small figure was sitting in the furthest corner of the cell, with her arms wrapped around the legs she had bent to cover her nudity. A cascade of dark tangled curls rounded her oval face. Her chin was resting on the limited space between her knees. Her jaw was set. Her wrists and her ankles were covered by manacles from which started the chains that ended on the walls. She was so immobile that she might as well be under some petrifying spell but, whatever they had done to her, they didn’t manage to extinguish the fire in her eyes.

The Wars have ended. Jon and Sansa are King and Queen in the North to subside unrest and Winterfell has risen from its ashes. Winter has finally ended. Spring has come and with it an entity to awaken the deadened hearts of the living as a feral, powerful man emerges from the Wolfswood to rescue Sansa from peril.
Sansa discovers Robb has come back an altered, dangerous being with dark desires and an intense obsession for his sister. She, in turn, experiences a forbidden awakening of her own as she is inexplicably drawn to her estranged brother with an illicit passion she cannot resist.
Jon is not immune to the upheaval the eldest Stark brings as he struggles with the realization of Robb's rightful claim to King In The North and Winterfell. Deeper than the political ramifications of his brother-turned-cousin's presence is the unexpected unearthing of buried feelings and yearnings which he is forced to confront as he observes Sansa growing closer to a resurrected Robb.
