    “I think it is,” he finally said, his voice soft but resolute. “I think it’s worth it, because… sometimes, staying here is worse than what’s out there. Out there, there’s hope. There’s a chance.     Finally invited to something for once, Uzi decides to sneak out and head to Thad's shindig. On her way there, she meets some of her bullies, who suggest they travel together, seeing as the forest has been housing a new and very dangerous Monster Drone as of late.

    Uzi agrees, only to be (unsurprisingly) back-stabbed and left behind. In trying to pick up a kicked basket, she comes face-to-face with the new monster that has been killing all the weaker monsters.

    What she never expected was for the Monster Drone to be surprisingly less monstrous, and more drone, having a lot more in common with Worker Drones than she'd ever thought monsters would.

    What goes from an odd friendship turns into a lot more, and Uzi doesn't think it's all that bad, honestly.

    “Find Medusa?” Percy spluttered, trying and failing not to sound indignant. “Nobody wants to find Medusa. You run into Medusa while trying to retrieve your uncle’s stolen lightning bolt and then mail her head to the gods after she keeps talking about how your eyes are like your father’s.”

    From behind him, Piper raised a single finger. “When you mail what to whom?”

    Percy glanced over his shoulder to give her a shrug. “Don’t worry about it. I was twelve,” he said before turning back to where Gabe was still fighting against the ropes binding his hands together. “Do you have any idea what to do with him?”

    Nico leaned over, craning his neck to better peer at the hot sauce that still stained Gabe’s face despite the years of statue-ification. “Um, we could see if your dad wants to turn him into a fish or something?”

    Percy grimaced. If Gabe Ugliano was a fish, then he’d be forced to hear the man’s voice in his head for years to come. But also, he could maybe mount him on a wall, so perhaps it wasn’t an entirely terrible idea.

    Or

    Medusa’s sculptures are mysteriously coming back to life. Percy doesn’t think murder is an unreasonable action given the circumstances.

She’ll claim you if you act the part. If you stay unclaimed then they'll figure out what you really are," she said, squeezing his hands tightly. Percy's heart sped up.

    "I - I don't know the first thing about Aphrodite-"

    "My mother was born of sea foam," Silena cut him off. "And if you're really who I think you are... you are the sea. You can pull this off," she said and touched his cheek. "Get the bolt. Survive," she said. Percy swallowed.

    "What if I can't act the part?" He asked. Silena's expression went blank for a moment. Slowly, she slipped off her bracelet and placed it in his hands.

    "If you're going to be one of us... you better learn."

    "Bye? Where do you think you're going?" Dionysus asked Estelle and watched as she took a few steps forward, almost falling every time. He sighed and followed. She took a few more steps before glancing back at him.

    "Bye!"

    "No, I'm being forced to stay with you."

    "Buh-bye!"

    "I hate you so much already," Dionysus muttered and continued to follow her. She appeared to be on a mission despite having no idea where she was heading. A few times she tried to navigate towards the camp, but was stopped by the boundaries. Dionysus watched as she pressed against it - brows pulled together in confusion before tapping on the invisible barrier.

    "Hello?" She said and looked at Dionysus before pointing at the wall. "Piano."

    "Pia-? What?"

    It all felt like a bad joke: Four demigods walk into Camp Jupiter with an outcast wolf-boy and no memories. One of them gets claimed by two gods, one gets claimed by a virgin goddess, and the other two… well. Annabeth couldn't decide if them being claimed was better or worse for them all.

    "What does it mean?" someone muttered, and she turned to find everyone staring at Percy with wide eyes. Percy looked equally shocked while staring blankly at the sword in his hand. Jason swallowed, taking a step back as his lips curled in disgust.

    "It means he's a god," he said. Percy shook his head. Jason's eyes flicked to where the rest of them were standing. His eyes met Annabeth's, and she felt her stomach twist when his expression hardened. "They all are."

    The last thing you want to be is a child of the Big Three. Everyone knows they're cursed and dangerous. There are even rumors that Greeks kill them on the spot. Luckily, the Romans are much more civilized... mostly. After all, the only thing worse than being a child of the Big Three is being mistaken for a fallen god in a Roman camp when Jupiter is missing. You know, as just a completely random example.
