The planet’s population thinned out drastically, yet even after the bloodshed, the number of survivors still far exceeded the amount of fertile land and drinkable water. What little remained changed hands constantly, fought over by warring clans, each battle leaving the earth more scarred and lifeless.
Those who lost these wars—or had never been part of them—were cast out into the wastelands, left to fend for themselves in a world where every day was a battle for food, water, and survival.
