Summary

Beth gets to know Father Paul Hill and his violent hunger as she works through his commission. Knowing a violent hunger herself, she studies this new resident to the island before she begins her next full-moon hunt.

Summary
Cullen had not been prepared for her to be here; the last time he had seen her he had expected it to be the last. He had seared the brand onto her forehead and watched as the life left her eyes. Yet here she was standing in the freezing cold, looking up at him with no emotion, the sun-shaped brand just as angry as it had been that day. He felt the guilt weigh heavy in his heart.
