Summary
Shouyou shuffles along with the crowd, the distant hum of voices, the blur of faces around him, and the rush of hurried footsteps that filled the air was a welcome distraction for his wandering mind. His footsteps started to slow as he caught sight of something that froze him in place—a flat-screen TV mounted in a shop window.
The moment his eyes landed on the screen, everything else around him faded away. It was a replay of the televised Spring Tournament.
His hands tightened into fists in his coat pockets as the image washed over him. The feeling of the court beneath his feet, the rush of adrenaline in his veins, the roar of the crowd. He wanted a place on that court.
Shouyou’s breath fogged in front of him as he remained in place, staring at the screen. A pang of longing gripped his chest.
Soon, he thought to himself, his gaze unwavering.

The one-shot series Sweater Weather, revised and polished as a chapter fic! Posting on Fridays!
This fic takes place after the Hosu arc and skips straight to the kids moving into the dorm. This is my fun little interim AU wherein the kids get to deal with their emotional baggage and interpersonal drama without having to actively fight for their lives, at least for a little while. Sweater Weather is 100% a self indulgent comfort fic, diving right into all the classic tropes of mutual pining and hurt/comfort. It started off as a series of one-shots, but as the chapters go it becomes more detailed and cohesive. I hope it makes you feel cozy!

Not when it came to his cloud boy, his black coffee and awful tea boy. Not when it came to Regulus Arcturus Black.Regulus in contrast had always known he had greed. So he had refused to even glance at James once too many before he could ask for more. Ask for all of him.
All in vain when James Potter made it his mission to push and pull on his life till it finally let him in. All in fucking vain when James Potter sees the blood on Regulus’ hands, wipes it off with his own clean shirt and helps him hide a murder. Regulus’ murder.
As it turns out it was hard not to demand everything when James cuts out his own heart and lays it before his very feet.
Will Regulus take it or step on it?
Or will he simply do both?
