“And everyone is so old,” Tubbo complains. Somehow, without them knowing about it, Tubbo’s managed to swipe a waffle and is chewing on it happily. Sapnap stifles a laugh. “Well, not everyone, I guess- the kid in our room is our age, I think. He might be younger.”
Wilbur perks up. “Does he ice skate?”
“Yeah, he does. He’s got these sick skates and everything.” Tubbo explains. “He’s quiet though. We tried talking to him, but…”
“But?”
Tubbo shrugs. "He's quiet. He doesn't talk much. I guess he's busy."
or, Tommy's made it to the Olympics for figure skating- he's the youngest contestant on the ice and he's the favor for the gold. He's supposed to be living the dream. So why is he still so unhappy? And why do all these hockey players and snowboarders care so much about him?

...until a hand reached out from the edge of the bed and ripped his blankets off him. When he asked out loud, "What happened?" he didn't expect to hear any response.
"You didn't turn on the freaking alarm!" a familiar voice shouted, and he turned his head to see his older brother gripping the stolen blankets in his hands.
Monday mornings are stressful, much more so for the Pandel boys.

Summary
Tommy wasn’t sure what he had been anticipating when he broke into Techno’s house. Maybe he was expecting his brother to kill him on sight, lodging a crossbow arrow straight between his eyes. Maybe he was expecting to be dragged back to exile, cursing and screaming the whole way. Mostly, he was just hoping that Techno wouldn't be home. Tommy had a half-baked plan to hide out in the piglin’s basement, squirreling away gapples and supplies until he could figure out something better.
He hadn’t even considered that Techno could be hibernating.
Or: Tommy has just escaped exile. What better place to hide than the house of his hibernating older brother?

Tommy hums absent-mindedly underneath his breath as he continues on his walk, and just as he sees the school come into view, himself being right on time, his phone begins to buzz in his pocket.
He doesn’t think much of it. It’s a calm morning, the city is quiet, and he’s not thinking straight, with it still being early. He expects it to be some telemarketer, if anything. He doesn’t expect anything of the worst.
(He wishes he never picked up that fucking phone call.)

Summary
(Yes the title is from sofia the first, yes I'm laughing at it, I find it funny-)
In which Phil has created the Antarctic Empire from the ground up and takes in Techno and Wilbur along the way, and raises them while also ruling his kingdom. Tommy, sixteen, lives with Tubbo in an orphanage, the two of them running around in the cold streets of their town.
After a hectic day of getting separated from Tubbo, getting into a few fights, and ending up in an entirely new town, he comes across Phil, and saves him from an assassination attempt by smashing a plate over someone's head.
So then both Techno and Wilbur decide to see who this kid is, and Tommy sure is endearing, in the way that the first time they spy on him, he starts a fight in an alleyway over a bag of cookies.
(and then Tommy basically gets kidnapped into the royal family, but like, legally, y’know?)

“If you heard what we said, then you know what Puffy told me about you,” Tommy said, giving Wilbur a sticky sweet smile that was more akin to him baring his teeth.
Wilbur’s face must’ve reflected the way his heart skipped a beat at that, because Tommy’s grin widened now that he’d found a thread to pull.
“So?” Wilbur asked, struggling to act like he didn’t care about that part of the conversation.
“So, I want to know what’s wrong with you.”
The thread tugged right in the center of his chest, and Wilbur wondered if this was what it was like to unravel.
or, Wilbur is only a few months away from getting his degree when he has a mental breakdown and is unwillingly pulled out of his classes. With nothing to fill his days, Phil gets Wilbur a part time job at a local bookstore, where he finds himself getting trained by a loud-mouthed teenager who hates his guts right off the bat. Great. All he wants to do is graduate, but now he has to deal with a seventeen year old trying to get him fired. Thanks Phil.
But somehow, this kid ends up being exactly what Wilbur needs.

“Hey mate!” The guy called out as he got closer, giving Wilbur a friendly smile. “I think you dropped your bread.”
Wilbur should run the opposite direction from this guy, but he didn’t seem angry at him. If anything, the guy was holding the bread towards him, like he was waiting for Wilbur to take it back.
He didn’t trust that. It had to be some kind of test.
“It’s not my bread. I stole it,” Wilbur said without preamble, narrowing his eyes at the guy who was standing only a few feet away from him now.
The guy shrugged, still holding the bread out. “Yeah, but it’s not like that baker was gonna be able to sell it after it got all squished, so it’s as good as yours.”
or, runaway Wilbur runs into a friendly man while trying to steal some bread. Somehow this snowballs into him getting a new dad.
or or, the backstory for how Wilbur got adopted by Phil in tommyinnit's clinic for supervillains! ft: slowly re-learning how to trust people, a 26 year old Phil who really didn't intend to adopt a kid but somehow bonded with this 12 year old anyway, and cameos from some of your favorite clinic side characters.

“I just don’t get why we’re trying something this risky!” Tommy exclaimed. “The Pythia is, like, the most important person in the whole palace besides the king. They’re gonna be guarded to all hell and back.”
“And that’s why you’re gonna be wearing a guard’s uniform,” Phil reminded him, adjusting the wings on his lap. “Plus, it’s literally a masquerade ball. The Pythia won’t be able to recognize you’re not one of their guards. All you have to do is tell them you’re taking them to a safe location when me and Techno start our distraction, and once you get them in private, use your magic to make them follow you out.”

“Look, like I said, I don’t want to hurt you, Wilbur,” Tommy said, taking a step closer to him, not reacting when Wilbur stepped back again. “Plus, are you even happy here?”
“It doesn’t matter whether I’m happy or not. Clara chose me for this role, and I’m not going to go against Her will,” Wilbur said, although the words tasted like dirt on his tongue.

Siren snorted. “No. I’m just here to order some food.”
“Wh-What about him?” The cashier asked, glancing at Tommy. “Did you- did you kidnap him?”
“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).
