Summary
The correct thing to do here would be to refuse. No matter how friendly Aether is, he is still an enemy. Not just any enemy either but the head of the Abyss Order, if everything he’d said is true. They had tried to destroy Mondstadt once and failed. What’s to stop them from trying again? Since Aether knows what he is, it’s safe to assume the prince knows about his inevitable fate as well. There could already be plans in motion to weaponize the corruption that's slowly building up inside of Albedo. This visit could easily have been to gauge it’s progress or to test him. Albedo looks Aether directly in the eye, sees the hopeful gleam sparkling within them.
“... I would not be opposed to having your company.”

Chuuya, of course. Everything clicks neatly into place, and Oda almost has to stifle a laugh at the sheer absurdity of it all. Instead, he murmurs an affirmative to Chuuya, casting his eyes back to the rust-colored curls that he’s trying to keep out of his mouth. He lifts a hand to brush some of Chuuya’s hair away from his own face and hears Dazai huff in the background.
Chuuya hums at that. After a pause, he hears him again, quiet enough that there’s no way Dazai can hear. “Help me make him jealous?”

Dazai passed out on a mission thanks to a lack of subsistence, in the middle of a shoot out no less. Not only had he passed out, he also lied to Chuuya. And while the executive tried to stay angry at his partner, he really couldn't when all he really felt was worry. That's how he ends up dragging Dazai to the grocery store with him before forcing the younger of them to stay at his apartment. Of course that's only because Chuuya doesn't want Dazai to get them killed, obviously.
