Summary
After being released from Aperture, Chell spends months struggling to survive in a post-apocalyptic world where society has regressed to a point where people are divided, distrusting, and violent. Meanwhile, GLaDOS has found that current-day humans make terrible test subjects due to their fear of technology and belligerence. When someone attacks and nearly kills Chell, GLaDOS takes the opportunity to bring her back to the facility and make her test in exchange for medical attention. Forced to work together to survive, they try to make the best of their situation. Gradually, the two begin to trust each other, and realize that they need each other in more ways than one.

Hallownest is balancing on the brink of turmoil--the conflict between the Radiance and the Pale King has only grown, and infection seems imminent. But with the king's newfound fondness for the vessels he's created, he's growing more and more reluctant to carry out his original plan to seal away the infection.
The last thing the monarch expects is for the Radiance to approach him, ready to negotiate a peace between the two deities. And he certainly doesn't expect her to arrive with a strange-looking child in tow, the likes of which even the kingdom's higher beings have never seen. Hello, future me. Got another one for ya!
Hollow Knight and Minecraft. Hey wipe that look of your face.
I know what it seems like, but it is actually a decent read. I just spent 3and a half hours binging it. It is good. Characters have emotions and act real. The difference between factions I feel were just about to start for some juicy conflict. There is a big emphasis on Minecraft magic but it seems like it is there to drive a mystery of the world. Nether having magic, overworld and its ruins. Why was Thio alone in there? How many year was he here? Granted it has its moment of "Hur, dur block cuz Minecraft" moments but most of the time blockinness is not mentioned. So, more of an eyeroll moment that actual frustration.
Only issue, is it was last updated over half a year ago
...Sigh...
You know the drill. Keep an eye on it till 2 years pass and then leave as a fond memory.

Summary
Aiden was supposed to have a good, easy, and overall normal day. Aiden was just supposed to transport ammunition from point A to point B via helicopter. Quite an easy day for a soldier, all things considered.
What wasn't supposed to happen was that helicopter crashing. He wasn't supposed to end up in a bug ruled land with a zombifying infection spread all over. He was never supposed to even hear the name Hallownest, let alone crash right into it. His day was no longer normal, or by extension even remotely good.
Hallownest isn't a humans place, and Aiden finds that out the hard way.
But it's not all bad, right?
He found a way to catch that damn Infection, and now that it's slowly sinking in, he's found a new way to describe pain. Let's just say it burns.
With any comrades likely left dead from the crash, he has to find a way home himself. Following a undetermined path, hoping by some stroke of luck he'll find his way back.
Well, maybe it is pretty bad.

Her brilliant plan was as follows:
1. Hide right up against the wall next to the door out of the Abyss so the Pale Bellend didn’t see her immediately.
2. When he walked through the door, waste no time in hitting him in the back of the head, or the back of whatever she could reach with her club to stun him and give her more time to enact step 3.
3. Run like hell, and pray that getting unexpectedly whacked in the back of the head stunned him long enough for her to make a clean getaway, since he would presumably be coming down here alone.
4. Make good use of her intangibility to escape and haul ass to the Resting Grounds as fast as possible, putting all her ninja skills to good use in avoiding detection from basically everyone, since she could trust basically no one to not rat her out if the king put a bounty on her head or some shit like that.
She operated under the KISS method of planning. It was an acronym that stood for ‘Keep It Simple, Stupid.’
But then again, no plan survived contact with the enemy.
This was going to suck, wasn't it?

Okay, listen here. This fic here. This fic. Is amazing. Perfect blend of angst and fluff. Oozes with love for the setting. Unnoticeable grammar mistakes. The prose flows well. I cried. I laughed. Sometimes parts of chapter feel like rambling or repetition but it might be due to me binging all the parts in 4 days. Also one romance development introduced in book 3, came (to me) out of the blue and felt forced but I got over it. So you should too
In conclusion : Damn worth a read. I cannot wait to read more.
Also, as of now they wrote 532,959 words. That's 5 to 7 full length novels.
What the fuck!?Did I mention that they wrote it in a year and a half?
