This sequel tackles some unanswered questions about CC’s life between his third birth as a normal cell and the moment he makes Silver.
At the end of “Forgive, not Forget” I also hinted at a possible romantic relationship between CC and NT 4201 and I explore it in this fic. I can't help thinking that CC (as a normal cell) and NT 4201 would be a nice couple.

Summary
This fanfic is inspired by NeriHyuga’s fanfic “Umare Kawari Saibou: Cells reborn”, on AO3. The author of this wonderful fic had the idea of Cancer being reborn for the third time, but as a normal cell this time around. Her fanfic goes from that point on and mine is an exploration of the emotions Cancer might have felt, dealing with the normal cell life for the first time and with what might be a touchy subject: cell division.
How will his life be, when he has to do what every other cell does: make a copy of himself? A proper copy, one that is what he would have been, if he weren't defective.
In “Forgive, Not Forget” I tackle redemption, rehabilitation, friendship, wasted potential, the importance of living in a harmonious environment. I love “Cells at Work”, it is a beautiful anime!

Summary
This whole fanfiction was inspired by the movie "Pokemon Detective Pikachu". Most of the story takes place in Ryme City 5 years after the events in the movie and 10 years after the Pokemon season Indigo League.
The story is about friendship and the bond between human and Pokemon. It is about going the hard way and staying true to yourself, instead of going the easier way and making compromise. It is about how we all make mistakes.
The story is also a warning against corporatist abuse and the downside of capitalism.

Summary
The "Resurrection" series follows Cancer throughout his third life, when he is reborn as a normal cell.
I have been fascinated by this character and have always wondered how his life would have been, had he been normal. Well, now he is just that. He has retained the memories from the previous two lives and has a lot to overcome.
He makes a copy of himself, who helps him see the light. And goes through emotional turmoil only to emerge healed of past trauma in the end.
Why was he resurrected and how will he use his second chance?
Maybe I exaggerated a bit with the anthropomorphization in the second work of the series. But otherwise it wouldn't have been a series. I hope you like my little labour of love.

!!Spoiler alert!! This fiction plays some time after the manga, so it can contain spoilers if you only know the anime adaption!
Part of the fiction:
- He slowly opened his eyes. Wetness crept in from the surrounding liquid. He was inside a machine, the dividing machine, that allowed a cell to copy itself.
He was a newborn, but in the same time a fully fledged cell. His eyes needed some time to adjust, but the liquid didn't hurt. Something was strange though. The room was dark and empty. It felt kind of cold.Story:
- Cancer is once again reborn, but not as a Cancer Cell this time, but as a normal, common cell with some little defects in appearance, but nothing malignant. He lost his memories and gets from one dangerous situation to another, but he is finally allowed to live. His former enemies now have to protect him.
