It just sucks that this particular mission involves chasing the legacy of a psychopath a decade dead deep into foreign territory with two black ops specialists hovering over his shoulder. Kei just wants to get in, get out, and get home alive to bury himself back in the obscurity he deserves.
But old sins cast long shadows, and when the mission goes wrong Kei quickly finds that sooner or later even the darkest secrets come to light.

Tetsurou groans loudly in the hope it’ll get him to stop.
Clinical mage-pathologist Kuroo Tetsurou is very bad at bouquets but very good at his job. Relationships...fall somewhere in the middle. Being known for your curse-work does put a damper on things, even when you're diagnosing curses and not casting them. It's fortunate, then, that part-time florist Tsukishima Kei is good at both bouquets and his job, but Tetsurou doesn't know about the relationship part.
Why would he? They're just friends, aren't they?

“As Rokudaime Hokage, it is my responsibility to indicate a successor to the Council, prior to my retirement,” Kakashi says, steepling his fingers together like he didn’t take office under the promise and threat of Nanadaime Hokage Uzumaki Naruto. “Upon formally submitting his candidacy, the Council’s responsibility is to vet the candidate for suitability and liabilities.”
Iruka wants to gesture for Kakashi to get on with it and stop being so dramatic about information Iruka already knows, but is aware that will only extend this further.
“The Council has determined that Naruto is unfit to take on the office of Hokage,” Kakashi says.

Summary
Iwaizumi Hajime was an undercover officer with a single objective: Infiltrate the Seijoh Syndicate of the Yakuza and tear them down from the inside out. His primary target was the boss, Oikawa Tooru. The job itself was simple enough, until Iwaizumi got in too deep and absconded not only from the mission, but from the city itself.
Now, two years later, he’s dragged back into Tokyo’s unsavory underworld. A grisly string of murders is plaguing the city, and the culprits are most definitely Yakuza. The problem is discovering which Syndicate is responsible, and Iwaizumi – the leading expert on Yakuza affairs – is the man most suited for the job.
Despite his determination to stay away from Tokyo – and from Oikawa – Iwaizumi finds himself right back in the middle of Seijoh, and it feels a lot more like home than he’d care to admit.
