Summary

He was a protector and a teacher, and she was a student wet behind the ears. He was a Huntsman, and she wanted to emulate him.
Two pairs of students and their teachers, both walk through the fog and find themselves in a whole new world. One where the moon is whole, the Age of Gods has not ended. One where Angels, Devils, and Fallen Angels are a constant threat, where the spirits are just a few turns away if you know where to look.
With each duo having no one else, how will they survive in this new world? Panhandle? Investigate? Kill monsters?

Summary
A Great Holy Grail War has been started, a battle for the omnipotent wish granting device.
One would jump at the opportunity to join this war for such awesome power, but the nature of this war goes beyond any and all expectations that anyone could've had.
Two separate sides of 7 Servants and Masters each. One Ruler and their two Avenger enforcers. Rouge Servants that never had Masters. An entirely new world that has been a transient stage of their own Age of Gods for millennia and mystery has not fully died out.
Magi of the clocktower, Huntsmen of academies, or forces against or not affiliated with either side will be forced to fight till one pair remains.
Will death come to everyone? Will reunions be sweet or sour? Will this Grail War go without a hitch? These are the questions.

When the world almost ended about a decade ago and weird creatures of darkness began to plunge the Earth into mass mayhem, Nicole thought to herself, "Huh, so that's what a bitch looks like leaving a child and wife behind," while her third step father ran off when a wolf broke into their house ready to kill them. She also thought, "Huh, that's what guts look like," when he got mauled to death five seconds later, but that's unrelated.
Honestly, it's a miracle shit went back to normal after all that. Apparently with murder monsters that come from nightmares comes a whole new world full of people who kill them on the regular.
Besides the prevented death of humanity and possible avoidance of nuclear fall out, Nicole didn't think of the world known as Remnant, it had jack all to do with her.
Until her mom dragged her to join her on a "vacation," just at the start of her sophomore Winter Break, and what does she happen to do? Meet some himbo blond from said world of monsters, fucks him, and now she is not only moving down to Virginia of all states but now has to deal with another new step dad and a way to happy step sister.
The dog is fine though.

When Ruby woke up, she didn't know what she should expect but she knew she wasn't expecting for an her to begin a life in an entirely new world that both did and did not remind her of Remnant.
So, here Ruby is. Trying to make it in a world invaded by Grimm and crawling with Danger Beasts. A world of Huntsmen and Imperial Soldiers. A world full of bloody evolution and even bloodier revolution.
Well, maybe if things go right for her, she can find a way back to Remnant and out of this- and forgive her language- emotionally exhausting and traumatizingly horrid country!

Install an academy meant to teach a new generation of pilots for the newest Weapons of Mass Destruction in the middle of the ocean, put a group of hormonal teen girls willing to kill to get what they want, a dumbass boy who became their object of desire/punching bag whatever he liked it or not, and a self-proclaimed sociopath who sees them as the only source of fun in what's left of her high school days. What do you get?
The only surprising thing here is that the missiles didn't explode sooner.
