V found herself on the roof, with Johnny sitting by her side. Their gaze was fixated on the luminescent glow of the Secure Your Soul advertisement in the towering building before them.
"So, what will it be?" Johnny's voice broke the silence. After everything they went through, V was able to notice the small jitters of anxiousness as he waited for her decision.
But V doesn't remember the answer she gave. Instead, she found herself jolted awake in her former apartemnt - her very old apartment, one she had while working for Arasaka's counterintelligence.
Was it all just a dream? A warning? An opportunity?

“You were spaced out, mano… I asked you if you want to go for a drink? I’d ask if you want to get somethin’ to eat but mamá would beat the shit out of me if we came home full even though she already prepared somethin’.”
V couldn’t help but let out a chuckle at the thought of Mamá Welles yelling at the two of them because they dared to buy some cheap synth crap while they both know better than anyone that they can get a much better and filling meal at home and for no eddies spent.

This is a story about what comes after the end, and what we’re willing to do—and to endure—for love and freedom. Waking up broken, trying to rebuild a body, a purpose, to find a warm place in the sun.
I wrote this to fill the immense hole this game left in my chest—and to give my favorite broken dogs the ending they deserved.

Clarisse is fourteen and two seconds away from forcing Percy to leave camp. The kid’s not coping under the eyes of like, every god in existence. The only reason she’s let him stay, is ‘cause he says it’ll change soon. Also. Triton got them the most amazing thing ever? Pity they have to use it to rescue Annabeth.
Nico is ten, almost eleven. His life is very strange. But also amazing. Things have been great since they left the Lotus Casino. He just wishes Percy wasn’t quite so afraid of him. When he finds out they need to go save Blondie, he’s not happy. Why should she get a redemption arc?
Lee knows it’s started. He’s been preparing for six years, less than three to go. What he wasn’t prepared for, was for camp itself to be invaded. With the barrier failing, and Tantalus stalking the grounds, Lee is terrified. They have stolen his home.
Georgie, Leo, and Piper are gonna make Tantalus pay for scaring Lee.
Even Apollo is reconsidering that whole overthrowing Zeus thing.
