So, I had this idea a few months ago, but it was at the time a spoiler. It stemmed from me reading the wiki on werewolves and going "hey that's funny" and then going "wait no this can be used to explore an eventually adorable premise, explore in-universe discrimination and activism, and be actually interesting if taken seriously."
So in other words, here's a werewolf!KG!Hermione pregnant with puppies. Battle of Hogwarts took place a month later because of the trio dealing with Hermione becoming a werewolf.
This might get written more, it might not - it's a spinoff I write when I feel like it.

Also, because people sometimes seem to think it is: this is not your tranny-approved ticket for a guilt-free Potter fix, don't get in my ear about how this makes you feel less guilty about engaging with the fandom. It's explicitly meant to critique Potter and its writer, and I am not a Harry Potter fan. It's just in the form of a story because that's what I'm good at. This is not a work of fandom, no highly esteemed story is commemorated here. This is especially true of Birds of a Feather, which is only ever not a critique when I am effectively telling my own original story. The only reason I haven't taken it down and stripped out the serial numbers is because a solid chunk of the story relies on addressing the actual consequences and horror of those serial numbers that are often consequences of JK Rowling's IRL beliefs.

Garion and Ce’Nedra have an argument over some of Garion’s unthinking jokes, and Ce’Nedra suggests something as she storms off. Garion decides it isn’t actually the worst idea in the world, especially given he’s one of the only people in the world who could genuinely do it.
This is technically a sequel to my other Belgariad piece, A Simple Erastide, but that’s not that important aside from background explanation of a couple quirks. It’s currently set to Mature but I’ve not yet decided whether or not to include explicit content but if I do I’ll up the rating. Interspecies relationships are always a little bumpy, but Trip and T’Pol make it work. Somewhat canon divergent as of These Are The Voyages, by way of considering that episode an inaccurate novelization of events. Also some aliens are a tiny bit different in ways that make sense to me, things they couldn’t really do in makeup.
One of my friends rewatched Enterprise and now Trip and T’Pol are living in my head rent-free.

Summary
So I wasn’t entirely satisfied with some of the ending of Star Trek: Picard, season 3 episode 10, just because it didn’t feel like it got quite enough time (which is weird, ‘cos it’s almost half of an hour long episode, but hey), and I felt like writing a supplementary fic to do with the deassimilation of Jack - it’s a similar complaint to what I had with Voyager and the ending of Unimatrix Zero, being assimilated isn’t something that you get away from scot-free. I mean, in First Contact there were full-fledged fully implanted drones within an hour, whatever mechanism handled Jack’s assimilation would have had plenty of time to get all fiddly with Võx.
Jack Crusher deals with his initial recovery from the Borg Queen after being assimilated in 2402.
