Vi doesn't look up from the buttons of Caitlyn's blouse, still opened and baring her chest to the quiet serenity of the office. Frown lines dance across her forehead as Vi tries to fit the tiny things into their respective frustrating holes.
“Seems like that's kinda the point of this whole bargain, isn't it?”
Caitlyn furrows her eyebrows. “You keep talking about an arrangement, a… bargain, but I’m not sure I follow you. What – how exactly is this supposed to work?”
Vi laughs, and Caitlyn supposes she must be quite funny in her ignorance. “How it works is you get me all these nice things I never even asked for, and in return, I fuck your smart brains out. Simple as that.”

It’s not dissimilar to the one she’d worn on the strike team, but it’s an even deeper blue, like the hue denotes her higher authority. She cleans the gold trim until it gleams, and the blouse underneath is ironed to steaming, glossy perfection every night by the rotating cast of housemaids and helpers that insist on sticking around. The collar is high- Caitlyn always insistent on hiding her neck- and it looks like a fluffy paper cupcake tin, which Vi had quickly exhausted her reservoir of jokes reminding her of. And the pants are tight.
The whole thing is tight.
