Honestly, he should've seen it coming. From his job, because of course, the three-star Michelin restaurant he managed to land a full-time gig at straight out of university, had gone up in flames only six months away from completing his apprenticeship. To his home with an eviction notice taped on his door the previous morning, a two-bedroom apartment he grew up in science his family came here. To his family. Or what was left of it, because, of course, despite finally being a citizen, his Nana’s insurance deemed her ineligible for any government assistance outside of some medical care.
Now he was bleeding out in the center of the city that did its damnest to strangle the life out of him. At least he could gaze up at what little stars could be seen above the artificial lights…. Well, he attempted to, and yet he finds his sight blocked by three ethereal, almost golden beings that look a little too much like the ruling deities of his favorite childhood video game. ‘Seriously? This is how I die? Hullesnating about a game I bearly remember?’

Slan is bored as the God Hand's master plans slowly take root in the mortal realm. The people and creatures being none the wiser of the calamities soon to descend upon them. So she does the only reasonable thing in the meantime... thoroughly harass their newest member by giving him a soul from her private collection of interesting mortals she's picked up over the years (All for sheer euphoria of seeing the white hawks’ feathers ruffled).Honestly, she's real as fuck for that.

Summary
It's been Two years since the demise of Naraku. And the years have been peaceful and serene, for the brave heroes that vanquished the vengeful half-demon. But as the inu gang works to reclaim their lives, they start to encounter the most confusing, shocking, and unexpected challenges. Tension starts to rise as Inuyasha becomes more demonly with the seasons, but this particular year brings with it one of Japan's hottest summers; one that triggers the half-demon's dormant instincts to awaken. Miroku takes note of this revelation and tries to help his best friend. All the while dealing with another unpredictable demon, that just so happens to be his best friend's brother, Sesshomaru. Patience is tested when Inuyasha becomes more aggressive and territorial; Sesshoumaru starts to test the boundaries of his acuantinceship with the monk; and Miroku as just about had with the brothers' bullshit. The gods must love to toy with the monk because it seems they have no mercy for protecting him from the savage wrath of the inu brothers.

Claudia pulled a loosed thread from the hem of her skirt, wondering if he'd ever talk again. "You ever felt like you slipped outta your skin?"
