Summary

After an unfortunate accident, Kaeya becomes a child, slowly losing his memories of his estranged brother and home. Diluc is determined to do whatever is necessary to get his brother back, and restore the Cavalry Captain back to his former self.
But will the Fatui's sinister plot be more than either of them or the Knights can handle?

“I am so sorry.” He starts, bringing his free hand to his forehead as he stares down at the tiles on the ground between him and the stranger he’d almost carelessly knocked over. “I don’t know what’s come over me, and—”
He freezes. Those boots… Look strangely familiar. He slowly tilts his head up, pulling his hand away from his face and finally taking a good look at the person across from him.
As if this day couldn’t get any worse.
“It’s alright,” says the acting Grand Sage, Alhaitham, who Kaveh has not spoken to in probably four or five years.
Shit.
Kaveh is about a week from homelessness, and desperate for money.
Haitham has an abundance of it, and a project he wants Kaveh to oversee as his live-in architect.
Perhaps the both of them can get something out of this arrangement besides an exchange of goods and services, and restore trust in a bond badly broken years ago.

Summary
His weak heartbeat whispered a thousand songs and promises from heaven. Diluc’s tense shoulders grew weaker and gravity grew stronger. He couldn’t even register colors anymore, associating it with the fact that Kaeya’s passing was going to be the end of him too.
When Kaeya, in the middle of all the pain he had on their way to Mondstadt, tried to wipe off the blood on Diluc’s cheek; Diluc realized that he never deserved Kaeya.

No one knows that ‘Kaeya Alberich’ was simply hiding behind a facade of his flirty and sly personality. No one knew of the scars that was left on him after his brother kicked him out of their family.
Kaeya soon found interest with poem writing and since Diluc’s birthday is coming, he wrote a short one for him as a gift. But Diluc didn’t think anything about it. He keeps the letter he received from Kaeya, never to be seen again.

Diluc tried so hard to avoid his inner desire of apologizing and getting his brother back. In the name of vengeance, there was nothing he wouldn't do. And it was true, Diluc was merciless with both his claymore and his words. But perhaps, "I wish you'd die instead of my dad." was a little too harsh for someone who just wanted to celebrate his birthday.
