    Realizing day by day that Anakin is hiding a big secret.

    The omega begins to get uncomfortable with having all the alpha's attention on him, in addition to the disturbing dreams that began during his stay in that cabin.

    Later, he realizes with horror that he cannot escape Anakin, especially since the alpha has chosen him as his mate for eternity.

    Not the Council, not the Senate, and especially not the slaver Queen. Strategic performance be damned, he couldn't stand the thought of it. Not even as an act could he play the role of a slave to anyone besides Obi-Wan, not even to Ahsoka.

    It’d taken everything in his power not to throw Obi-Wan down and scream at him, to demand that his Master never say such a thing again. Obi-Wan was the only master he wanted. Don't give me away, don't sell me in exchange for some strangers.

    After being forced to witness Obi-Wan and Rex's torture in the Zygerrian Educational Centre, Anakin is left drowning in insomnia and haunted by ghosts. Tormented by the realization that he wants only to submit to one person, the same man who asked him to kneel for the enemy.

    When he and Obi-Wan find themselves trapped together, trauma and attachment collide in ways the Jedi never prepared either of them for.

    Anakin was in agony.
    The entire cabin stunk of an omega in distress; every inch of it reeking of fear and hurt, only intensifying when Anakin sensed that his safe haven had been invaded by an Alpha.
    Obi-Wan immediately felt an invisible hand come to wrap around his throat, threatening violence if he did not leave immediately.
    “Dear one, it’s me.”
    The pressure around his throat – tight enough to make it difficult to speak, but not impossible – immediately loosen and then, completely disappeared.

    Anakin is suffering from a dangerously long heat, one that will not, much to the distress of his medic and young Padawan, end safely on its own. Anakin needs an Alpha help. The problem is, Anakin will likely break the nose of any Alpha that comes anywhere near him.
    Their only hope, Anakin's only hope, is Obi-Wan Kenobi, the only Alpha in the galaxy who Anakin trusts to keep him safe during his heats.
    Only Obi-Wan's greatest fear is that by mating his former Padawan, now, to save him, will cause that trust to be lost forever.

    To be fair, Anakin wasn’t actually the one intended for the position; the role of ‘captured slave with a fiery attitude’ was initially supposed to go to Ahsoka. But upon seeing the disguise they picked out for her (if it could even be called a disguise, considering how karking little it covered!), Anakin had immediate objections.

    What Anakin failed to realize, however, was that it now meant that he had to wear it.*

    Anakin goes undercover as the slave on the Zygerria mission instead of Ahsoka. Things ensue.
