“I’m psychotic. You know I’m psychotic. You’ve known that.” It was true, Yelena had known that, but she was shocked that Bob actually said the words he’d avoided for so long. “You’ve all known for months. Why are you mad at me for it now?”
“Bob, I’m not mad.” She sounded a little mad, admittedly, but it was because she was irritated. Because it was impossible to talk to him about something that was so damn important. “I’m not mad at you, okay? I just want to understand what you’re going through so that I can help you.”
“I don’t need help. I don’t want your help.”
Bob, in the midst of an undiagnosed manic episode, decides to get his GED. Ava and Yelena join him.

Summary
Bob kept his mouth on John’s neck, just kissing him, sucking on him, breathing against him, until John said suddenly, “You know, sometimes I wonder if Sentry made you a vampire.”
And then he realized just how long he’d had his mouth on John’s neck, how it must have crossed the line from sexy into weird. He pulled away, wiped his mouth on the back of his hand. It was stupid of him to leave hickeys when the rest of the team didn’t know. It was weird of him to suck on John’s neck for so long even though his skin was so textured and so interesting and so comforting.
“Hey.” John nudged Bob’s chin up with one hand when he stopped. Their eyes met for just a moment before Bob looked away, too embarrassed to maintain the contact. John pushed his fingers in Bob’s hair and twisted gently, tenderly. “You okay?”
Bob has a strange relationship with his mouth that nobody understands, including himself. Except for John, who somehow sees everything.

Summary
He was down so bad for the way that John held him, the way he nibbled and sucked on Bob’s sensitive skin, that he completely forgot how to think. Then John pulled his mouth away, replaced it with his left hand, and an unexpectedly cold sensation pressed itself against the saliva he had left behind. It took Bob a second to realize that the tiny, cold band was his wedding ring.
“Walker.” John’s hands slid into Bob’s shirt and even though he wanted to focus on the intensity of the fingers on his waist, all he could feel was that one sliver of metal. “Walker.”
“I got you, baby.”
Bob, not realizing that John is already divorced, tries to end their affair.
Or: Five times John wore his wedding ring and one time he didn't.

“Uh, thanks?” John tried to turn his jaw back, to relieve some of the pressure. Bob’s grasp was too tight, the edge of his nails pressing into John’s skin. “What are you doing, Bob?”
“I’m not Bob.”
He looked up to meet Bob’s intense gaze, to the speckles of gold buried within it. “Sentry?”
John just got home from a mission. Sentry wants to play with him.
