Summary
“I’m psychotic. You know I’m psychotic. You’ve known that.” It was true, Yelena had known that, but she was shocked that Bob actually said the words he’d avoided for so long. “You’ve all known for months. Why are you mad at me for it now?”
“Bob, I’m not mad.” She sounded a little mad, admittedly, but it was because she was irritated. Because it was impossible to talk to him about something that was so damn important. “I’m not mad at you, okay? I just want to understand what you’re going through so that I can help you.”
“I don’t need help. I don’t want your help.”
Bob, in the midst of an undiagnosed manic episode, decides to get his GED. Ava and Yelena join him.

Summary
“Did you sleep at all, Bobby?” asked John, unable to stop himself. Bob nodded and shook John off. “For how long?”
“I don’t know,” Bob answered, and maybe it was just because his gaze wouldn’t settle in one place, but it sounded like a lie. “An hour, maybe. I’m not tired.”
“What are you feeling?”
“My head hurts.” He set his left fingertips on his temple, finally focusing on how he felt, what his body needed. “It feels like it’s on fire.”
Every morning, John wakes up before the rest of the team and spends a few hours alone. Enter: Bob, who can't sleep at all.

Summary
“You okay?” asked Yelena.
“Yeah,” Bob answered instinctively. He hesitated before he corrected himself with, “I’m trying to be. I just… I’ve been covering up my arms for years, you know? And between that and everything the serum did to me, I— it’s like there’s a disconnect somewhere. I know it sounds weird, but I don’t feel like my body is mine.”
With the Thunderbolts' support, Bob tries to stop hiding his scars from himself. It's harder than he expected.

Summary
“Please, everyone has a scar on their side. Raise your hand if you have a scar on your side.”
Bob did not realize how his participation could backfire on him until every single person in the room raised their hand and somehow, he was the one they all looked at. He slowly lowered his hand back down to his lap, dropped his gaze to his book as if he hadn’t paid attention to their banter at all. Unfortunately, he was not half as subtle as he wished to be.
The odds of everyone raising their hands were high, which was why Bob joined in—he expected it to be funny. He did not expect the joke to be thrown back at him when John said, “All right, if Bob’s scar is cooler than mine, I’ll concede.”
The Thunderbolts start comparing their scars and Bob starts spiraling.

Summary
One day, tired of the arguments and tired of always doing the dishes, Bucky proposed a solution: everyone would be responsible for doing the dishes on one day of the week. It was a simple answer to a simple problem that worked for everyone.
Except Bob.
The dishes were a big thing for Bob.
On Tuesday, Bob is supposed to wash the dishes. On Tuesday, Bob does not wash the dishes.
Or: Five times Bob could not finish the dishes and one time he did.

Summary
“You don’t need to look for strangers to hold you, Cass. Just come and find me, okay? I’m here.”
Cassian said nothing at first. His breaths were slow and deep as he shifted into the pillows, his body relaxing beneath Bix’s embrace. “We aren’t together anymore, Bix.”
“Just because we aren’t in love anymore doesn’t mean I don’t still love you.”
Bix avoids the cantina because she can't stand to watch Cassian hurt himself. It has nothing to do with the fact that she can't stop herself from trying to help him when he does.

Summary
“Of all the reasons I shouldn’t go, the only one that has ever convinced me to stop myself is you.”
Maarva frowned as she slid back to meet his gaze. “Me?”
“That look on your face. Like you think this is your fault somehow. I don’t like that look.”
Maarva doesn't care how Cassian chooses to spend his nights, nor who he spends them with. It's the state he returns in that makes her wish he'd never leave her sight again.
