    Dean Winchester wakes up in his own grave confused as hell and with a strong sense of déjà vu. Reuniting with his brother, Sam, and family friend, Bobby Singer, Dean sets out to find what set him free from hell, and why. Finding answers might not be easy, though. Sam's clearly hiding something from Dean, and there's this mysterious girl, Skye, who always seems to be in the right place at the right time. To top it all off, Dean's experiencing memories of something that never happened to him and a person he's never met. What does all of this mean? Why is this happening? Most importantly, who is Castiel and why does Dean remember the man literally loving him to death?

    The yearning is so palpable in this fic, you can't help but wish Castiel would come out and say something! The author did a great job capturing that aspect of Castiel's character in this AU. I just wish this had a more conclusive, Destiel-y ending!

I don’t know what you’re trying to escape, but it’s not normal and I don’t want any part in it. I’m clearly missing a large part of your story. You were never planning to tell me, were you?”
