Summary

Of course, nothing can ever be simple for the newly established dwarf king as an old friend from the past returns, and while Thorin wants to help him, watching Marlok grow closer to Bilbo threatens to sour any rekindling of their friendship.

He can not speak any language that people can unless it is a language spoken by the Valar. Being left alone with only his feathered-friends, Bilbo is given an intriguing proposition by Gandalf. Help the displaced dwarves with retaking their mountain on the hope that he might be taught Khuzdul in return. Only there is a hiccup Bilbo did not foresee, the creature they need his help with ousting...is a dragon.

Bilbo gave him a weak smile. He was tired of arguing. He buried his face in Thorin's shoulder and continued to cry.
It was at this moment that Bilbo decided he could not gain any more weight. Although he believed Thorin's comforting words, he could not even imagine that there would come a day when he would become so fat that Thorin would no longer want him. He loved the dwarf so much that he was willing to do anything to make sure that his love was reciprocated.
Bilbo still cried as thoughts of losing weight and looking perfect took over his mind, and Thorin stayed there holding the broken hobbit in his arms until the crying finally ceased.Bilbo develops an eating disorder after some harsh comments about his weight. He grows weaker each day of the journey as he tries to lose weight to impress the dwarves, especially Thorin. The constant extreme hunger, headaches, and stomachaches cannot persuade Bilbo to eat, but maybe Thorin can before it's too late.

Summary
What begins as Ori only intending to share a bed roll with Fíli for warmth one night, eventually turns into the acquaintances becoming curious about each other after, then falling in love over the course of the quest despite others wishing they would just leave each other be.
Meanwhile, Thorin is doing his best to be a good example for his eldest sister-son and not act on the urge to let himself be wrapped around one specific Hobbit Omega's fingers. However, he fails spectacularly.
The rest, as some say, is history.

When Mario and Luigi are swept into a weird world and ripped apart from each other, they don't have time to consider the different way this new place treats them in their desperation to get back to one another. They must then navigate the new dynamic hurdles and temptations brought about by this strange world full of mushroom folk, gorillas in sports coats, and being the oddities in a good way for once.

Jake’s anger was palpable enough to burn a hole through steel, his jaw clenched so hard that his teeth creaked audibly. “Who would choose to leave a child on Pandora? Who would have a child in an obvious warzone? Who the fuck would endanger a kid like that?” he asks, all of them rhetorical because no one would be able to answer them anyway.
“And how the hell did Selfridge think it was a good idea to tell someone just as he was getting on an aircraft to leave?!” Jake asks again, getting more irate and angry, nearly tearing his hair out at this point. “That’s like saying ‘Oh peace out guys, but don’t forget there’s a literal child in there who could starve if left alone’. Like, the fuck?!”
He flops back against his chair, his breaths heaving out in barely controlled gusts that flutter the pages strewn about him. “Actually, Norm, don’t slap him. Punch the dumbass for me into next week. Maybe that’ll get it through his thick skull,” he mutters, utterly serious in his tone and his expression.
Or!All humans leave Pandora after the final battle leaving Spider behind. Oh, and he’s blessed by Eywa. That’s it. That’s the fic.

Thinking that the Dwarves of Thorin's company will never forgive him, Bilbo taps into the hobbits' green magic at great risk to his life and shows everyone that nature is not only gentle and kind, but has thorns, and that the Bonds between him and the Dwarves are not so easily broken than as would have thought.
