The maia grabbed a bottle of oil with his free hand, weighing it absentmindedly.
"I remember you once told me you'd like to have a family."
Celebrimbor's heart ached painfully, but he remained silent as Mairon continued his monologue, unsure of where this was going."I can grant your wish," a smile played on the maia's lips, "We can start from there."
____Celebrimbor's life is spared when the elf, during the atrocious tortures, reveals to Sauron the location of the rings.
But Mairon isn't satisfied with keeping his former lover locked in his rooms: he wants to return to the love they once had, and what better way to fix a relationship than a family and a gruesome experiment?

Celebrimbor's face was completely red from the humiliation and the pain, and he opened his lips to say something but... couldn't.The only thing he managed was a sob as Annatar stroked his forehead soothingly.

“I'll take care of you now.”___
For some reason, now everybody thinks that Celebrimbor is getting insane: the lord of the Eregion has no idea what happened, but what he's sure about is that now he's stuck in padded cell, isolated by everything and everyone, and restrained for his own safety.
But nothing to worry about: luckily with him there is Annatar, who will now take care of everything.

His father was gone; he had burned alive in his arms as he breathed his final oath of hatred against Morgoth, but Morgoth hadn't been satisfied with that.
He had taken Curufin and, still obsessed with Fëanor, had made him his new plaything.Every day Curufin was called Fëanor, forced to exist as a substitute for a father who was no longer there – but hadn't he always been that, his father's shadow? –, he had to hear Melkor's cruel, disgusting laughter, the way his rough hands touched his body, and be tortured in ways he had never thought possible before.
He had expected to die much sooner, but Curufin had apparently underestimated the resilience of elven bodies.Or perhaps it was simply his father's eternal fire that kept him alive.
Or perhaps his only purpose was to be a second Fëanor, and as such he still had to live.

"I am a lovely canary," then replied mimicking Sauron's voice in a caricature. "I am a lovely songbird who has nothing to do but sing for my master. I promised him, I promised him that I would be good and sing for him."
His hands twisted in a painful grip on the handle of the dagger as he continued to repeat that oath aloud.
The maia grimaced hearing the elf grotesquely imitate Sauron's voice. But he had to find a way to gain his trust, so he asked: "Can you sing?"
"That's all I can do! I can also play, and I sing and play until my voice is gone and my fingers are bleeding, but I keep my master so happy..."___
The War of Wrath happens and Angband is defeated by Manwe's herald, but inside Sauron's chambers a peculiar prisoner doesn't want to leave yet.

After Maeglin refused to tell Morgoth Gondolin's location, the elf is sent to Sauron's laboratory: there Melkor's lieutenant will be more than happy to give a new purpose to the captive elf's body.

"Do you know that when they're blind, their singing becomes even more beautiful?"Mairon had tilted his head, intrigued by that explanation. "But if their singing becomes even more beautiful when they're blind, why didn't Erü create them directly without eyes?"

"I... I don't want them to take me away!" he whimpered between sobs. "They've taken Uncle Nelyo, they'll come for me too!"_______
During bedtime, Curufin finds himself consoling a young Celebrimbor.
