Summary
When a murder rises up in the small city of Adaven, Nevada, Detective James Savoy is on the hunt to find the killer before more murders come up. Along the way, he finds a surprise he was not expecting, sending him down a path he never thought he would tread again. Old ghosts of the past come back to haunt him, pulling at emotions he had long since buried deep within him. He is taken through the emotional roller coaster as he tries to remain focused on the task at hand.

As the war continues, he finds love once more in a certain red and blue mech before ever finding true peace. He realizes his mistakes, regretting every bad deed he had done. Without a way to revive Cybertron, the former warlord finds it within himself to live peacefully with the inhabitants of Earth and the members of Team Prime.
