Kaburamaru, as Giyuu overheard once a while back, sat curled around his forearms; forked tongue flicking against his hands.Slowly, the ravenette turned to stare in apprehension at the serpent's master, who almost radiated with betrayal.
“Traitor.” Iguro whispered, fists clenched around the pants of his lavender-tinted uniform, bi-colored eyes locked on to the snake.

Turns out all of that is much easier when compared to falling in love with an alpha who used to be your enemy—and who immediately rejects you, claiming he would never date someone from the Fire Nation.
Has the heart he thought was already shattered somehow broken all over again? Yes.
Will he keep moving forward? He wouldn't be Zuko if he didn't.
Still, it would be a lot easier if Sokka didn't seem increasingly determined to stick his nose into Zuko's business.
