Summary
Hinata knows what he is doing is wrong but he can't stop. Self-harming has been his life for as long as he remembers and he is scared to stop. Only two people in his life know, his mother and his mentor, someone who he met years ago and still talks to for help. Little did he know, he would meet his mentor again on opposite sides of a volleyball court. Could this push him further down or is this the push he needs to finally take the step forward and get the help he needs.
All Hinata knows is that he doesn't want his team to know but for how long will that be possible?

Summary
It started as a dull throbbing in his lower back. Hinata Shouyou didn't think much of it at first- when he mentions it to his mother in passing, she frowns at him. "Did someone pull a chair out from under you as you sat down?" Hinata had laughed then, saying that "No, no I would definitely remember if someone did that!"
Now, though, now...
Waves of electricity arc up his spine, agony laces his every step. He wishes it was as simple as someone simply pulling a chair out from under him.

Of course Hinata gets a little bit startled, but before he could utter a word, Tendo says as a joke: "Is it because you like him? Do you want to ask him out?"
Of course it's a joke and even Hinata knows so he tries to go along with it to lighten up the mood and says: "That's right! That's exactly what I wanted to tell him!"
And everyone around knows it's a joke except Ushijima who turns just slightly pink and while rubbing the back of his neck he blurts out: "Oh, alright. We can go on a date on New Year."
