The main problem Light faced was the utter dissonance between each of their daily lives and their complete inability and unwillingness to come to a compromise. Light was used to 8 hours of sleep every night, reasonable work hours, daily showers and at least an hour in the mornings spent on his hair and skin care routine (One couldn't look this perfect without putting in the work, after all, even if he made it seem effortless). L was used to.... well, Light couldn't describe it as anything but the devil's routine, coming directly from the 9th circle of hell and seemingly perfectly tailored to wreak the most suffering out of one Light Yagami.

Shouyou’s court partner seems to grasp what’s going on, waving their opponents away before retreating to the spectator’s area himself, presumably to wait for Shouyou. He scents of Beta, so Tooru’s Alpha pays him little mind, instead focusing on taking in his True Mate’s scent; eucalyptus and lime.
