From three flashes of Purah's life leading up to the start of Breath of the Wild, this character study delivers a rich, nuanced reading of her motivations, with emphasis on her as a mechanic and as someone who shouldered guilt beyond her due. It touches on bittersweet and fierce second chances, grabbing at life, and the value of living compared to being alive. It brought tears to my eyes and made itself my Purah headcanon.
