“I’m pretty sure he doesn’t know about it, though, because if he did, he already would have posted that cat trophy everywhere.” George rolled his eyes fondly, then exited the page.
“Wait”, Lewis piped up, “they get a trophy for that?”
There was a certain edge in the Brit’s voice that made George look up. “Yeah? I mean, it’s not huge or anything, but they did get a pink cat trophy for it. I don’t know what that has to do with ‘being couple goals’, but it’s certainly a cute thing.”
Lewis just hummed noncommittally in response, but George was a very observant person, and in the past three years he’d learned how to read the seven-times world champion rather well. So he knew something was up.
He groaned. “Oh no. I know that look.”

When the Mercedes boys hear about Max and Checo winning the Mexican couple goals award, Lewis decides that he wants that title as well. Luckily for him, George lets himself be convinced to help him out.
