“What Yi Sang is trying to say,” Ishmael interrupts, "is that while we were in the Mirror Dungeons fighting those cyborg things, you got wrapped up in all the pink ribbons and totally lost your mind. You rampaged for a bit and then fell unconscious, but now you're still all loopy like you were earlier. So, what the hell?”
“Wha’ th’ hell?” Heathcliff repeats. Then he snorts and looks up at Yi Sang. “Are my eyes pink? Like ya said?”
Getting hit by an abnormality's status effect that lasted longer than a Mirror Dungeon run wasn't Heathcliff's ideal end to the day, because every action he seems to take predicts some sort of shameful regret in his future. Especially about Yi Sang.

"While the accident had been Dante’s fault, Gregor couldn't put all of the blame on them given that it was some damn machinery that Faust had a hand in making. More specifically it was the extraction machine - Gregor would later learn - that had catastrophically malfunctioned.

That was the first thing Gregor thought when he saw the mess, half-expecting Vergilus’ smug face to flash through the haze of smoke, popping up from behind the charred remains of the equipment Dante had destroyed. But, neither of them were anywhere to be seen. Must have done the smart thing and evacuated the bus. What *was* left in their wake, though, was... well, Gregor.

Faust went to the door. “There is a penalty for tardiness.” She told him softly.
“I can’t do it today, I’m calling in sick, I’m sorry.” Gregor’s voice came through the door, accompanied by very chittery sounds.
“Faust does not think it is that bad--“ She opened the door, and her eyes went wide. Slowly, she closed the door, much to the concern of all the sinners. “Gregor will be absent today. Let’s proceed as normal.”

One way to cope with the nuisances of E.G.O. Corrosion after-effects is to, obviously, make it into a ranking. There have been lots of tierlists from the Sinners, ranking the estimated severity of everyone's post-corrosion pains. There's pretty much a unanimous agreement on Sinclair having the weakest after-effects, though opinions vary wildly on who has it the worst.
Or, Meursault corrodes in his room.
