It doesn’t really surprise Robby that Dana’s the one who finds him. Long after the rest of day shift has left, he’s sitting in the quiet room upstairs in Peds, the sleeping infant nestled in his arms.
“Thought you were supposed to be on a motorcycle, out there trying to find yourself,” the nurse comments, leaning against the doorjamb with her arms crossed over her chest. The look she's giving him reminds Robby that she can read him better than almost anyone.
“Change of plans,” he says quietly, not wanting to wake the little girl.

"What do we got?" Robby stepped forward as the paramedics pushed the patient into trauma three. Santos was already at his shoulder, pulling on gloves, while Whittaker hurried in behind them with a tablet.
“Sixteen-year-old female,” one of the paramedics reported. “Name’s Nicolette Rosetti. Collapsed immediately after performing. Blood pressure ninety over fifty, pulse one-thirty. Has been in and out of consciousness.”
The girl looked impossibly small on the stretcher.
Her dark hair was twisted into a ballet bun that had mostly fallen apart, and faint stage makeup was smeared under her eyes. Glitter clung to her cheekbones. Her eyes were closed, but her expression was far from peaceful.

Sure, she felt something akin to a twinge of sympathy when she saw Wanda's haunted, puffy eyes each morning in the kitchen, but that was about the extent of it. When these feelings did prickle at her conscience, she shut them out forcefully and willed herself to remember what pain Wanda was capable of inflicing. Natasha relieved the horrors of her past much more frequently now due to the manipulation of her mind at the hands of the little witch and that was not something she could forgive or forget.

Natasha and Wanda both have issues and they help each other figure them out.

Summary
This is the first story in a fanfic series about a young and rebellious girl named Skye, who was forced to grow up way too soon, as she was raised in the Red Room, and later in Hydra as well. Her life is a tragic story, and somehow she gets tangled in the Avengers' lives, who eventually change her life. But, as we know, living with heroes doesn't always mean peace and quiet.
BTW: Skye's story is divided into a series of shorter stories, each running directly through a movie, starting with Avengers: Age of Ultron (this story) and then continuing through Captain America: Civil War, a little bit of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, with a few details changed. I also hope to write further into the Multiverse Saga, but we'll see.

Summary
Being named after the stars was a common thing, people see their beauty and their magnificence, and they want it for their own. Stars hold a sense of wonder, of power, of time and space and everything in-between. They have an innocence to them, a feeling of safety, of a higher being looking down on the world, glistening from the galaxies.
Stella was named after these stars, but not for any of the above reasons. Her name was chosen because stars were made up of fire, they burned brightly- just as she did. She had spent her whole life being Nick Fury's super-powered child assassin, it was all she knew and the main lesson he had taught her was to kill or be killed. She was his brightest star, his favorite killing machine- but everybody knows stars shine their brightest when they are about to burn out.
When SHIELD falls, and she is suddenly at risk of being exposed, Fury sends her to his other heroes, the Avengers, and Stella learns there's a whole lot more to life than Nick Fury had ever taught her.
Or, Tony Stark has a problem not adopting troubled and parentless children, especially ones that shine brightly once he enters a room.
