Summary
Part 2 of the vivor series! We have many new characters, yet surprisingly less fandoms. I suppose that can be attributed to the immense amount of Mario, Kirby and Dont Starve characters. Slightly more serious than season 1.

Summary
On the surface, Webber seems like a simple, happy young boy who doesn’t let any problems take away from his love of life.
And that isn’t wrong! Webber loves learning about the world, he loves his spider friends, his fellow survivors, his girlfriend, even the spider who he shares a subconscious with, mostly, and he’s happy a lot more than he isn’t!
When he’s having fun, he can forget that he’s a monstrous hybrid! He doesn’t need to feel pain over it!
He’s happy…
And yet, he has and always will have a problem that can never be solved, that affects his life in small and large ways, impossible to fully ignore.
How could one truly stay happy this way?

Summary
{“Eternal life sounds like a curse,” she growled. “You live to see everything you can do, and then when you’re done, you’re forced to keep living forever beyond that. An endless, meaningless existence… the fact that we might have to go through that may just be the worst part of our already miserable lives here.”
Webber understood, but he couldn’t help but disagree. “We’ll be together, though! And we won’t just get bored of each other! We…”
Wendy’s arms were still crossed. Webber moved his hand closer, inviting her to hold it and open up a bit more.
“We don’t think we’ll ever stop loving you,” he whispered. “And… we think you probably feel the same.”}
A talk about immortality gives a young couple new perspectives, a deeper understanding of each other, and a newfound appreciation for their situation.

In this one, he doesn’t, and the fiend completely steals Mario’s identity, achievements, friends, loved ones, and everything else. Left alone with only one friend by his side, Mario fights to survive with no identity, in a world in which the imposter is hailed for somehow still defeating the Shadow Queen, at least until someone approaches, offering a path forward and revenge.

Bookmarker's Notes
Ok I don’t really care for Vivziepop’s shows
But this is a DST fic that does all of these things:
-Acknowledges the more mysterious parts, like Tenebrau
-Has a good concept outside of basic fluff
-Makes the survivors competent
-Everyone (or at least the DST ones, idk about the others) is in character
-WEBNY WEBNY WEBNY WEBNY I LOVE THEM SO MUCH
-Oh yeah and it’s also actually written with good proseYeah this is peak fiction right here
