Summary
Castiel is a lighthouse keeper in the middle of the ocean, a solitary life he has chosen. What he didn't expect was to find a man washed up on the beach at the foot of the lighthouse, wounded and unconscious. That man, a sailor named Dean, not accustomed to life on earth, but rather to freedom of a life on the sea, will have to stay and live with that strange lighthouse keeper used to loneliness until the supply boat comes.
They'll have to live together, with all their differences and similarities. A daily challenge that will become less and less difficult as the days go by, but other difficulties and questions will surface.Bookmarked by Cassifer221b

Robby didn’t have a bad day. He truly didn’t. It was more a bad week — or a month, if he was being honest with himself.
An ongoing existential crisis, he heard himself say, far back in his mind.
But when every day feels never-ending and too fast-paced at once, Robby was sure that his last month could easily equal a lifetime.
How many more do I have to live through?
He found himself drawn more and more to that question.
He also found himself on the roof more often than not.Or: Robby has more issues than he can count, and they just keep coming — but maybe he doesn’t have to face them alone?

“Alright Dr Robinavitch, what seems to be the problem?”
Robby squints up at Jack from his perch on the edge of the exam bed. Shoots him a faux glare even as the corner of his lip twitches up with amusement.
“You know what it is, Jack, because I texted you about it this morning.” His voice sounds rough, breathier than usual, and perhaps it's this proof of Robby's genuine illness that brings the gravity back into Jack's voice.

It was only supposed to be the flu.
