“That’s none of your concern,” Endeavor spits out and the threads that were fading are dangling in front of Shinsou’s mind, brushing against his fingertips and becoming more solid. Easy within reach.
All he needs is to pull now.
“It kinda is,” Hitoshi says, flatly. His heart is pounding away in his chest, beating furiously against his ribcage like it can break through and fly away like a bird. His blood is rushing in his ears, heated and slurpy from the fire that steadily rises. “Considering you ruined my plausible deniability by shouting your son and me deaf in rage.”
Todoroki’s mouth drops a little open and the reaction would be hilarious on any other day. Normally, Hitoshi would smirk, smug over getting the drop on someone so collected and stoic with his words, but Endeavor’s face twists in outrage, his grip tightens.
And Todoroki winces.
Hitoshi doesn’t hesitate to pull the string. It snaps taut in his grip.
Endeavor’s expression goes blank.

Summary
It's an accident, for once. He was actually following the Official Household Chore Schedule and doing the dishes while Chuuya was out getting groceries. But one of the plates was slipperier than he expected, and as he attempted to dry it, it fumbled just enough out of his grip to crack against the countertop, chipping a bit off the edge.
It isn’t one of Chuuya’s fancy plates. Dazai is fairly certain that Chuuya has no particular attachment to this dish at all, actually. It’s plain white and utilitarian, part of a larger set.
So Dazai can’t explain why he’s frozen in place, rooted to the floor by some welling emotion he can’t quite pinpoint.
(Alternatively: local brilliant strategist has a slight meltdown over small uncontrollable part of everyday life)

Pretty normal for them, right? Kunikida actually felt a little happy at the revelation, but alas, nothing ever goes as peacefully as it was for the Agency. So it was safe to say that the next thing that happened, Kunikida wasn't even surprised it involved Dazai.
Or: They're all quarantined so Kunikida has the awesome idea to hold zoom meetings in order for his coworkers, just so they don't miss anything, and proceeds to have years taken off his life span.
