The rink being mostly empty was such a relief to him. When it was busy, he couldn't safely close his eyes and just breath in both music and the frosty breeze, feeling the smooth trails of ice shear beneath the blades of his skates.
And so, lost to his daydreams, he put his hands behind his back as he began his warm-ups, and let his mind wander aimlessly into fields full of dandelion puff ideas.
A dragon cursed to be a prince feels a lot more relatable, than the other way around. And who would want to kiss a prince to turn him back into a dragon? Hmm.
Scenes rambled through his mind, of faceless knights, and princesses falling short of their father’s promises. Would one even want to be saved? The decision…well, it would have to be based on those around him who cared about who he was…not just what he looked like.
Even in a royal family…I'm still a dragon…

Instinctively, Gaming reached into his pocket to retrieve a few coins from his purse. He reached his hand out in the direction of the voice, ready to offer an attempt at comforting words or perhaps a cup of tea when he locked eyes with the beggar and froze, as did the beggar himself.
Xingqiu.
Xingqiu's life took a bad turn when he was thrown out. His money and status gone, his vision shattered, now he must fend for himself. Chongyun and Gaming are desperate to help him but he does not make it easy for them to do so... or even want to.

His siblings, Lyney and Lynette hatched a plan to link their oh-so-lonely little brother with an energetic, similarly aged boy they met during a performance. They give Freminet a mailing address with a grin.
“It’s not just a penpal, it’s being ‘penguin-pals.”
In other words, Freminet starts lettering with Gaming and is forced to face his fears of socialization.

So here they are. In a packed, echoing gym. Smells like sweat, popcorn, and cheap sports drinks. You're fighting urges to not strangle Xingqiu by the neck as he gasps dramatically everytime chongyun misses a toss and—BAM—your eyes catch Gaming.
Number 8, short, lean, stupidly springy.
The moment he slams the ball in, the crowd goes wild. You're not sure if it’s the adrenaline in the room or the way he grins like this is his whole world but… yeah you definitely see the ambition.Xingqiu, oblivious, still squeals about Chongyun’s defense.
TLDR: in which you try to navigate through highschool life averagely, also Gaming plays basketball. And everyone's got ups and downs in their lives. Yune is not an oc, it isnt even a real name it's just an abbreviation for gn! Y/N cause I refuse to call em Y/N

Archons, with their unseen thrones of power, disappeared, withdrawn or departed—their Visions empty. What light’s left?
Now? There is no wind anymore. People cower in toothpick huts under the eerie red sky. They live underground, huddled in their caves to outlast the howling wave above. For four long years, a stasis cast in ruby glare with only the poked-thru pallor of a second moon to show itself from beyond. What light’s left. Can they—can he—see a way onward with red in his eyes?
Until the Abyss simply disappeared, and Lynette returned with the body and another boy in tow. What light’s left.

Realizing now that as long as Sephiroth lingers in the Lifestream, all he has to do is win ONCE to destroy all life on the Planet, Nanaki, centuries down the line, decides on a desperate plan - to use the White Materia to beg the Planet to send him back in time to excise Sephiroth from the Lifestream before he can metastasize.
...In another life, Nanaki has talked his way out of Hojo's lab (except for the necessary check-ups he forgets as often as he can) to work with the Turks, which would be all good if the errant voice that whispers to him in his mind hadn't forced him to sit up and take notice of a mercenary defending the last Ancient, and if he hadn't been tasked with a monstrous mission that has him looking for the exit.
His escape lands him with a band of ecoterrorists, a mercenary, and said last Ancient, one of whom his errant whisper insists is IMPORTANT to him, meaning he's stuck with them until he can piece it all together and save the Planet.

Ezreal’s not the best witch — that’s Hwei. But he’s trying and learning, making a few hiccups along the way. And hey, he gets to flirt with a hot werewolf customer every day. Well, if he could get a sentence out.
Hwei thinks everyone’s putting him on top of a pedestal. He doesn’t have the ego — that’s Ezreal — and certainly isn’t the best witch his reputation cuts him out as. But maybe running a small shop with the cute blond might not be so bad.
Sett’s just living life one day at a time. With the past staying in the past, he’s content living in exile from his former pack with his mom. And the head of the witch’s shop seems to catch his eye. Even if the Hwei’s apprentice’s is Ezreal, at least his incompetence is amusing.
But one invitation from Evelynn, the undisputed queen of the forest, to her Monstrum Ball and the Auburn Moon coming up might change their game plans.
