Also, because people sometimes seem to think it is: this is not your tranny-approved ticket for a guilt-free Potter fix, don't get in my ear about how this makes you feel less guilty about engaging with the fandom. It's explicitly meant to critique Potter and its writer, and I am not a Harry Potter fan. It's just in the form of a story because that's what I'm good at. Obi-Wan narrowed his eyes. "Who are you?" He asked, hoping a direct question would yield answers. The old man seemed adept at side-stepping information when asked a bit more deftly. “I’ve never heard of a Master with your level of talent.”
The old man seemed surprised. “If you’ve never heard of one like me, then what good would my name be? You wouldn’t know it.”
Obi-Wan felt a flare of irritation, and quickly squashed it. The old man blinked, as if he hadn’t expected to feel that, and he smiled, sadly. “My name is Luke,” he said, as if a peace offering.
The force trilled in his ear, and Obi-Wan frowned. "Luke what?" He asked, and the old man, this Luke, smiled wryly.
"Luke Skywalker.”

Summary
In September of 1971, Severus Snape finds a forgotten portrait of the Slytherin family in a dark corner of the Slytherin Common Room. At the time, he has no idea that talking portrait will affect the rest of his life.
On 31st July 1995, Harry Potter disappears from Little Whinging a few minutes after midnight. The means of his departure are unfathomable, and the Order's only relief in their concern is the fact that Voldemort was not responsible.
The rest of Wizarding Britain is too busy tearing down their Wizarding Savior via the press to be much concerned, at least until certain Slytherin allies decide that enough is fucking well enough.
