They stop and make camp for the night, their strange little party. Three elves and an Uruk. Distantly, it amuses something in him, touches an unfamiliar sensation of lightness buried deep. The hum flits across some space in his heart, where, somewhere, once, in a time he can no longer clearly remember, he read strange tales by the river in the moonlight. This would be a very strange tale, indeed.

Once I had the idea in my head I couldn't get it out....the whole 'what if' of it all and the themes of love, redemption, forgiveness and the nature of evil. Some people will hate this idea but I kind of love it and I wrote it for me so there.Apologies if any of my elvish translations are off. I tried
