“Do you think it’s some kind of sex pollen?” Stede asked, out of breath once again as he rolled off Ed to stretch out along his side. “I read about that in a rather filthy book once. Didn’t think it was real, but then there’s so much we don’t know about the world!”
Ed, for his part, was lying on his back; body melting into the puddle of their commingled juices currently pooling beneath him on the bed.
“Nah mate,” he scoffed, voice rough like he’d been screaming (he had). “Sex pollen wishes. Reckon we’re just madly in love.”**
Ed and Stede retire from piracy and attempt to open an inn. Or they would, if they could stop fucking for long enough to get the place into shape.

Summary
Professor Stede Bonnet has spent his life studying anthropology with an emphasis in human sexuality, which he finds almost laughable when he spent years married to a woman before coming to terms with his own sexuality. After a divorce and the death of his father, he finds himself finally experiencing the freedom to find out what he truly enjoys. And if he's doing it with money funding his 'study' thanks to his boss, Nigel Badminton, all the better. He's spent too many years left behind, and he's done.
Edward Teach, also known as the notorious hacker Blackbeard, has settled down to teach at a local university in an attempt to switch up the monotony of his life. Instead, he finds himself just as bored until he comes across an insane Professor that apparently invites men in full leather fetish gear to his office and discusses the price of bulk lube with his TA. He's fucking fascinated and, for the first time in a long time, excited about every new day to see what the maniac will do next.

Summary
Stede may be going through a bit of a midlife crisis after his breakup with Mary but they are working through it together by opening up a feminist sex toy shop, Revenge, a safe space for queer, polyam, and trans locals. He needs a hobby of his own to get his mind off the store and the occasional annoying protester. He stumbles upon a quirky yarn store, Black Sheep, not too far from his new shop. He stops in to take up a new hobby, but learns more than he ever expected. In exchange for teaching Stede to knit, Ed asks Stede to teach him the ways of sex toys, as he's a bit rusty in that department and being newly single himself, he's looking to explore.

Summary
Stede and Ed have fought their way back to each other, killed Benjamin Hornigold, and faked their deaths at Okracoke Island. Now they’re setting sail into their new life with the crew of the Revenge.
But the past doesn’t go away just because they’ve declared their love. The crew is still unhappy about that whole “attempted murder” thing, and neither of the co-captains is very good at relationships.
When the Revenge finds a cursed necklace, things begin to go wrong. The co-captains must lay the curse to rest, come to terms with the things they’ve done—and maybe, just maybe, work their way towards true intimacy.
Along the way there’ll be storms, swordfights, handsome rival pirate captains, naval battles, seagull goddesses, and lots of talking it through, as a crew.
