For a moment, he manages to hold himself together, biting down on his bottom lip as silent tears stream from his red eyes, but his composure breaks and he curls in on himself. Durin’s chest heaves with wheezy, racking sobs as he buries his face in his hands.
“Look what you did,” Hat Guy whispers, narrowing his eyes at Sethos. “You talk too much.”

Hiyori purses his lips, eyes sweeping across the corner of the common room that Eden temporarily commandeered to spend a bit of downtime in. It isn’t that different from their typical scene — Ibara, hard at work on his tablet; Nagisa, studying a script with a calm, focused gaze; Jun, tongue peeking out from between his lips as he plays a video game on a portable console. But Hiyori Tomoe is nothing if not the perceptive leader that he proclaims himself to be, and he can practically taste it — the looming, crushing demons of overwork.
That settles it. It’s time for drastic measures.
“Clear your schedules,” Hiyori proclaims loudly, with a smile so wide it nearly makes his cheeks hurt, “because we’re going on vacation~!”

Charles realises he can probably get a doctor and a brother-in-law out of this, if he plays his cards right, and if Erik could stop being suspicious for just a minute.
