“Not exactly trying to blend in, are you?” Jongho asks, wondering if the walk to the tavern really was this long when he was with the pirate couple.
“People will know anyway, why try to hide it?”
So that’s what he’s going for then?
“Some might think it’s more than just showing off that you’re a pirate,” Jongho says, making sure to run his hand through hair. He’s seen Haseul do that around Hyunjin a lot.
“And what would they think?” Hongjoong asks, eyes tracking his every movement. “What do you think?”
“That the sea can be lonely.” He adds a light touch across Hongjoong’s coat, so incredibly soft. He hopes it hides the fact that his line was more of a confession than a pick up line. “But there’s more people here, people who definitely won’t want you to be lonely.”
Or: Jongho works at a tavern but misses the sea. He thinks he can manage until a crew of pirates visit and he has to face just how much he wants.

Summary
Jongho knows that as far as things go, he doesn’t quite fit in the definition of handsome nor he is close to what is considered an appetizing addition to a pack. He knows that not being on the touchy side when it comes to friendships is a big minus point in the imaginary curriculum that should score him a spot – a place where he belongs – in a group - the so called family of choice – and that his slow approach to relationships is often interpreted as utter disinterest instead of caution. That he is consequently a virgin, perhaps it could attract some of the weirdos out there who are into that stuff, so even the latter he wouldn’t consider positive.

Desiring the new chance at life despite how little time he seems to have.(I'm so sorry this summary is shit😭 But the story is good I promise. It just sounds more depressing than it actually is.

Summary
Violence and crime have taken over a world now run by different crime lords and mafia bosses. Many members of the police force and military have been paid off to overlook crime, leaving the world in a hopeless and desperate state.
Two men haven't given up and believe they can bring balance back to humanity, but to do so may be more dangerous then doing nothing.
They plan to recruit 6 deadly men who have all been given multiple life sentences, and are all very skilled in their own way, in return for their freedom.
If they cooperate, they go free. If they disobey, they die.
Will this plan work? Or will the world fall deeper into despair?
Secrets will be revealed, pasts that haunt them will come forward, lives will be at stake as they learn to work together.... or die alone.

Summary

Captain Kim Hongjoong had never felt an ounce of remorse for anyone outside of his crew. If they weren't with him, they were against him. But when they bring a prisoner on board for information, Hongjoong watches as his crew members warm up to him despite their orders not to engage. As their attachment grows, Hongjoong's hate for the prisoner swells.
