Summary
“Castrum Kremnos will never bow to you,” Mydei snarls, and he spits on the laden feast table below in open defiance.
The Good Prince only laughs - a sound as light and beautiful as dawn’s soft breaking on the sea.
“I do not want Castrum Kremnos to bow to me, Princess. I want you to bow to me.” A hand in his hair arches Mydei's back and forces him to face their audience. “And you will.”
alternatively: The Crown Prince of Castrum Kremnos is taken as a spoil of war by the conquering Kingdom of Elysiae.
The Good Prince is a man as patient as he is terrifying; and Mydei fears, with each passing day of captivity, that no-one would be strong enough to weather this endless cruelty and escape with their body and mind intact.
He certainly isn't.

Summary
There's an odd girl at the back of the throng.
To the casual eye, she looks completely average. She wears the same soft cream and dull yellow uniform of the other girls around her. She is small and slight, and her cheeks are dotted with freckles. Among the other palace girls surrounding her, she blends in perfectly. She could be any girl from any far-flung village of Li.
But her eyes—they are what catch his attention. They are what draw him in.
Or: Snapshots of Jinshi and Maomao, throughout the years--of their scars, their mistakes, and a little red string that endures through it all. An exploration of love, fate, and the choices we make, told in twenty-six parts.

Summary
The Intelligentsia Guild has never liked being reminded of their connection to the IPC, but their dislike for Aventurine runs deeper. Being duped is never fun, even less so when the one to trick you is a near illiterate slave.
He’s never expected much from any collaboration with the Guild, until he meets Ratio.

or, when faced with his own growing feelings for a certain doctor, Aventurine has to learn to deal with them. -

Summary
Then Aventurine raises his head and, with a taunting smile, asks: “Why? Afraid of something, Ratio?” He pitches his voice up, breathy with mock excitement. “Am I your first?”
“No and no.” Veritas closes his eyes in an impressive show of patience. “If you could be transparent for one second, convince me that you are truly and completely on board with—“
“Am I not always transparent?” Aventurine laughs as he pushes away the hands on him. “Exacting as always, doctor. Fine then. You have full permission to fuck me. In fact, I’d be in your debt — how does that sound?”
Ratio and Aventurine are trapped in a box with only one way out.

Summary
They weren’t friends. They weren’t mates. They were barely even co-workers. They were two souls who found each other attractive enough to sate the monthly needs of their secondary gender.
And they were something else. A dynamic he couldn’t voice for fear of losing it.
Or: Aventurine and Ratio have a no-strings-attached arrangement regarding their cycles, but nothing can ever really be that simple.
