Circe's island has been peaceful...most of the time. Many men have come around to the island over the years, some causing trouble around the palace, others peacefully accepting her hospitality. But when a mass killing of Nymphs on Circe's Island happens it rocks everyone's worlds, especially Cara's.Life moves on and a few months later, new travelers land on the island. Odysseus and his crew gain the trust of Circe, and the Nymphs life began to feel normal again. Months, and then years past and him and his crew stay. Cara finds acceptance with the life she is living, but when another shipwreck lands an unexpected visitor on their island everything that they built tumbled down and now Cara has a choice.
Should she stay in the only home she has ever known or leave with the person who raised her?Series

Summary
I’m different from others, in both worlds. I am a goddess who acts too much like a mortal and will never be accepted by the gods, but I still act too much like a goddess to be accepted by mortals. I’m in between two different worlds, fully accepted by neither.
The present… is complicated. My biological and chosen family are coming together but not in a positive way. Drastic measures have been taken, and people have changed. I cannot say that the changes were for better or worse because honestly, I do not know. There are moments where everything is okay, moments where I feel light and am enjoying life. Moments that replay in my mind when I am missing someone or some time. Some moments could be better. There is chaos, fighting, and pain emotionally and sometimes physically. The mood changes happen in an instant. My past and present intertwine to make one big bubble of memories. Things that happened in the past, are repeated and continued or sometimes I learn from it.
But to understand the many twists and turns of my present, you need to understand where it came from.Series
