Originally this was going to be a super short addition to the A Very Adamo Christmas fic that I wrote for VulpesVortex because there was a small part I forgot to put in when writing that one, but then my need to give all the airmen recovery after the war took over me, and before I knew it, it was a 4k+ Luvander character study and an exploration of his life and mental health ft. gay yearning.And also in this one he's trans because honestly, I just got halfway through writing this, thought to myself "what if he was trans?" and couldn't think of a reason why not to follow the whim so I just went with it and liked how it came out.

The problem with living in a remote top secret military base disguised as a farmhouse an hour from Thremedon, Laure realized, was that when you went into labor in the middle of the worst blizzard in a decade you would inevitably find yourself snowed in with only a group of the biggest idiots from here to the border as midwifes.
This is my piece for beren aka vulpesvortex for the 2019 festive bastion holiday exchange! Beren requested adamo/laure, snapshots of their lives at the greylace estate, and adamo and Royston being bros. So, this is the story of the circumstances surrounding the birth of laure and owen’s first child featuring airmen nonsense and the moment Royston finds out he's a godfather. Hope you enjoy!!

Gimli is a skilled leather worker in Dale. When Legolas first enters his shop to try and discreetly commission him something potentially very embarrassing, he finds with surprise that the Dwarf is professional, skilled, and respectful.
It isn't long before he's a regular customer, and when they give in to the unavoidable attraction they feel for each other, they find that the road to a happily ever after is a slippery slope that goes through passion, trust, love, and a lot of oil.
