Eddie had been cleared of all charges, The Byers were back in Hawkins like they’d never left, Vecna was dead and gone, and everything was back to normal; or rather as back to normal as Hawkins could get.
Unfortunately for one Steve Harrington, his new normal seemed to be not only his inability to get a date, but also his newfound proclivity towards staring at Eddie Munson’s mouth while he dramatically narrated during a five hour Hellfire session, or counting the freckles on the bridge of his nose, or memorizing the patterns in his honey coloured eyes.

Always needing to be the centre of attention, Crocodile thought with a sneer.
"We can sit on top of the table?!" Luffy yelled, excited, before wriggling out of Crocodile's grasp and clambering onto the table.
Somehow, that was the last straw; everyone's attention was now firmly on Luffy, with no one bothering to pretend like he didn't exist.
Luffy, for his part, appeared entirely unbothered — of course — as he settled himself by Doflamingo's side, pulling his feathery coat over his own shoulders.

Loki was cursing every choice he made that lead him to his current predicament. If only he had controlled his anger. If only he had grabbed Thor's hand. If only Thanos hadn't found him. If only Odin had believed him instead of throwing him into a dark cell.
Rain was pounding down on the large world around him. The buildings and even the people looking like giants compared to the tiny cat huddled in a corner.
It was a good disguise. Not even Asgard's watcher could find him like this. Heimdall would have lost track of Loki the moment he shifted. It was one of his favourite tricks. A quick shift, and the Prince was gone.
However, there were a few problems with his current situation. First of all, although aiming for a small town in the middle of nowhere, Loki's injured state had thrown him off and sent him to New York.
