Summary
Ani doesn’t believe in Gods and spirits, not really. He believes in his magic though. It’s never steered him wrong; never failed to warn him away or towards or around people, as was necessary at the time. With that in mind, it’s not all that difficult to accept that his assumptions about all things spiritual need revising.
