Summary
You have a couple classes with Leon.
Nothing crazy; not the see-him-everyday type of overlap, but enough to pick up on a few habits. Subtleties: like his hunter green Jeep, parked daily without fail in the same front-right quadrant of student parking. A perpetually busted tail light - paradoxical, for a future cop. Styrofoam-cup coffee every morning, hot, sipped leisurely as he wakes up during Intro to Stats.
Off campus, Leon’s just as consistent. Dedicated, if you’re being nice. Predictable, if you’re being mean. And you’re not trying to be, it’s just that you’re never shocked by him. Oh, Leon got new shoes. They kinda look like his other ones. Oh, Leon’s drinking and watching the game. Just like last week. The same parties, the same friends, the same beer. It’s not a bad thing, not at all.
Which is why you’re fairly certain the world is ending when you catch a glimpse of him - double take - hitting a bong.

Logan fell for Sandrock's newest builder, Nat, almost from the first time he saw her. Once the crisis in Sandrock is averted, he doesn't know how to move forward with his life or his feelings for her. So he does what he's used to doing: he keeps watch.
Nat isn't ready to put a label on these pesky feelings she has for Logan, but it's getting harder by the day. She just really wishes he would stop popping up whenever she gets hurt in her day to day life because it's super embarrassing and the one thing she hates above all is accepting help.

AKA, Logan follows the builder around the desert like a lost puppy because that's easier than opening up, but when she has some bad days, he can't help but step in. She's really not a fan.

Summary
Following the events of Resident Evil 6, Leon returns home and is exonerated after accusations of killing the president from Simmons, a now-revealed bioterrorist. After 15 years of traumatic experiences fighting bioweapons—and after yet another encounter with Ada—something has to give for Leon, because everything added up has gotten too much to bear for him. Deciding to begin by letting go of Ada, he shortly runs into you, a plant microbiologist, setting off a chain of events that will involve unspeakable horror, necessary healing, and the processing of long-buried grief.
Expect a relatively slow-ish burn with a lot of mutual pining and eventual payoff with tons of fluff.
There are frequent horror and violence/gore elements for both Leon and the reader throughout this story on par with the games (think RE2 Remake and RE7). Discussions of trauma are also frequent throughout this work. The work assumes that you have played RE2, RE4, and RE6, although you should be able to piece together through context clues any references made to previous canon.
