Todd offered Neil a smile, and the boy swore that his heart didn't nearly leap out of his chest. It was like the attraction he had felt upon their first meeting but intensified by ten, as if all the pinning he had done over the past few weeks had built this unassuming boy into an Adonis in his mind. This was ridiculous, Neil Perry was calm, cool, and collected at all times. He was charming, and level headed, and definitely did not swoon over pretty boys that were shy to a point of near physical pain for them and everyone around them.

Summary
Taako needed some extra cash, and tutoring was a pretty low stress job that fit his schedule. It wasn't even hard, he just met with a kid a couple times a week and helped with their homework and whatever. It was a pretty good job, and the kid he landed with wasn't half bad. Taako didn't like kids, but he guessed Agnes or Angus or whatever was alright.
He didn't plan on getting attached to the job though. Or to Angus.

Merle sits on the park bench next to Lucretia under a sky that's almost the purple of a fresh bruise. Overhead, the stars glitter in their alien configurations, and the pinkish glow of the Plane of Magic ripples on the horizon. The only sound is a pitiful breeze ruffling the grass, and Merle's breathing. Lucretia can't quite let herself make noise, even so many years away from the chase. Not when it's already so dark and quiet. Maybe it had been a mistake to follow him out here once the day's work on his autobiography had been done.
