Summary
When the Predacons capture Starscream, Predaking agrees to give him to the Autobots if only they promise to execute him. That is of course, following a rather brutal beat down. Skylynx, originally supportive of the plan, starts to have second thoughts. Upon visiting Starscream, he gains a new perspective and rather than allow him to be surrendered to certain death, he frees him instead.

To Megatron's defense, the day started off terrible. Groggy from carrying, and exhausted from morning sickness, Megatron partially wished he stayed in bed, but not even he was granted that luxury with his unborn sparklings kicking his fuel tanks every five seconds. Luckily for him, Starscream is a much needed distraction and willing outlet for his current predicaments.

Summary
The coming of peace wrought hardships for those who were once Decepticons, Megatron was no exception. The council of the new Cybertron demands justice and Optimus has no choice but to oblige, and sentences Megatron to a thousand years of rehabilitation. But it was not as simple as it seemed.
Starscream, recently released from prison, is prepared to start a life of freedom. Yet when he finds himself face to face with a now destroyed, and tortured Megatron, he becomes the subject of an extremely risky rescue.
Or
Megatron is sentenced to torture, under the guise of reconditioning, and is almost a shell of his former self. Starscream, newly released from prison, takes it upon himself to save his former master and all that comes with him.

“A dream that caused you to have a panic attack - because you saw a Senator at a gala?” Starscream approached the desk, his heels clicking aggressive upon the floor.

Megatron is not one to show vulnerability, especially in front of Starscream. Yet, when he has a panic attack due to meeting someone from his past, Starscream does not allow him to suffer alone.

/Breakdown made an oath to Starscream after the attempted rescue from Silas, and keeps that oath even if it nearly costs him his life. When Breakdown attempts to kill Megatron for beating Starscream, it is clear to both that they are no longer welcomed among the Decepticon ranks. So risking everything, Starscream and Breakdown flee Nemesis before they are executed.

Shockwave himself was impartial to trauma. He did not face such fallacies the ways others did. Starscream however, was a different story. And who would have known that the war and Megatron’s violence would give him night terrors, even years after his former master had vanished. Shockwave does not completely understand nightmares, but he still helps Starscream any way he can.
