“No, no, the-” police can't help, she almost says, but she can sense that Alice will take that to mean she needs convincing. She sucks in another shaky breath. “It isn't a police matter.”
“Riiight.” Alice nods, disbelieving, but doesn't push her luck. Gwen actually misses the comforting warmth of her palm when she pulls it away to watch as she sniffles and sobs and dabs at her sick-stained black blouse. Alice says nothing for a moment, then clicks her tongue. “Here, you're only making that worse.”
As Gwen looks up to snap something about not sitting in sick all night, she's met with the sight of Alice pulling her navy blue jumper off, discarding it in her lap while she pulls off the black spaghetti strap vest she has underneath, leaving a star patterned bra and Gwen speechless.
The aftermath of Bonzo if Alice had been there to comfort Gwen and not off in a soggy, manky hole in Manchester.

The cat is a ginger tabby with short fur and white socks and Jon very much enjoys the asymmetry of it’s white paws. He watches as it picks a fish toy up in its mouth and jerks its neck to toss it up in the air and swipe at it, chasing after it when it's batted away. After a while, the cat sits upright, tail curled around its paws and makes eye contact with him.It makes a noise, an emphatic prrrrbt, and then it picks the fish up and makes its way towards Jon, tail straight up and swishing gently side to side. The cat rubs against his feet and then drops the fish, staring up expectantly. Jon raises a brow. Does...does the cat want him to play fetch?

Sasha has her chair turned away from the door, gently fanning herself with a file she’s too tired to continue reading when she hears a light knock on the door and it creaks open. “Hey, boss, I have something for you.”
“If it’s not Martha Lynch’s statement, Tim, then I don’t want it,” she calls back, rubbing the bridge of her nose. She should get new glasses finally.
“Oh, that’s a shame,” Tim remarks, mock heartbroken. “I guess I will take this box of chocolates and the continuation of Trevor the vampire hunter’s statement that I accidentally found, and give them to someone who will appreciate them.”
Sasha spins in her chair so abruptly she almost falls out of it. “Wait. You can come in, actually.”
Tim grins, entering the office. “That’s what I thought,” he says cheerfully, brandishing both the box and the file. The moment he sits down, Sasha snatches the latter out of his hand. “Aaand there she goes,” he mutters under his breath, sounding amused.

Sasha and Tim navigate things like work emergencies, trauma, crafts, losing one's humanity, hair cuts and not giving up.
