Tim is pretty sure this shit is absolutely not worth it, but it’s too late now and even if it wasn’t, Mama ain’t raise no fuckin’ quitter.

“This is because he won’t kill the Joker?” Tim’s voice is a hoarse whisper, so soft he’s not even sure Jason heard him. Tim lifts his head, a steely determination in his eyes, and glares straight down the barrel of the gun. Suddenly, he’s struck by the petty, vindictive urge to just be mean, and if he’s going to die anyway, he may as well give in.
“You’re no better than he is.” He spits out, jaw clenched. For the umpteenth time that night, there’s a fresh bloom of pain on Tim’s body, this time across his cheekbone as Jason’s gun comes down hard against it.
“Don’t you dare compare me to Batman.” There’s fury in Jason’s voice, and satisfaction curls in Tim’s gut.

“And yet you haven’t snitched.” Jason says.
“And please don't snitch.” Dick follows it up with.
“I won’t… yet. I’m curious about the Joker as well, since I, and possibly Drake, are the only Robins to never encounter him.” Dick and Jason nod at this.
There’s only a handful of files left, before he finally gets to the most recent one.

"Y-your bird… the one me and Mistah J— the one we took back then, he’s here. He’s JJ Again!” In the background of the call a shrill and goosebump-inducing laugh was heard, a laugh Bruce didn’t think he'd ever hear again.

Someone bumps into him, and Tim staggers forward. It’s barely a step, the woman laughing a quick apology that barely filters through his ears, but it feels like the cracking of a dam. Everything surges, he wants to be home, and he presses his palms to his ears, closing his eyes. Fuck, why did the housekeeper have to leave with no notice? When is she coming back? How long will he have to do these trips himself?
Tears leak from his eyes, dripping down his cheeks. He wants to wipe them off where they pool under his chin, despising the feeling, but he needs to keep his ears covered. He needs the partial reprieve from the conflicting sounds, at least something in his situation needs to go—
Hands wrap around his wrists, tugging them down from his ears.
Tim just wants to get some food and go home. Life decides to have other plans and kick him while he's down (it's okay, there are two brothers nearby ready to lend a hand)

“Drake,” Damian says, clicking his tongue. “We are not prepared for unknown variables. Someone knowing would undoubtedly change how they act, which would have a snowball effect on the rest of the day. Therefore rendering our knowledge useless.”
“This doesn’t concern you, Grayson,” Damian dismisses. Tim stomps over, raises his hand, and Dick prepares to break up a fight between the two.
Instead, Tim simply grabs Damian by the shoulders, spinning him around and off the bed so his back is pressed against his front. His palm finds Damian’s mouth, and the younger begins squirming in the hold. “Dick, we’re caught in a time-loop,” Tim says, raising his voice over the muffled protests of the boy in his arms.
What? “What?” Dick asks, trying to comprehend the statement.
Dick doesn't know when his brothers got so close, considering how last week the two almost came to blows over a missing batarang, but it's seeming a little... obsessive.
