He wasn’t sure how or why, but that really helped, a weight slowly lifting from his shoulders.
“What you’re doing right now is enough, I promise you.”
Mike shrugged, feeling like he would always be stuck with this need, no matter how small, the need to protect.
Ten years after everything, and Will hasn't been able to shake a debilitating fear of anything medical-related. So when the only option and smart thing to do is get a blood test from the hospital, Mike is sure to take the time to be there for him.

Summary
This series is an alternate universe in which no supernatural things occurred (however, I do not explicitly state that none of the upside down things happened, and you can imagine that it did if you so choose). It focuses on Will's mental health, and Byler. There are also minor focuses on Will's friendship with Max and familial relationship with El. The series takes place over many years, but mainly focuses on the time when the kids of Stranger Things are in college.

As soon as Spencer glances over, he realizes that the man has his bag, and is pulling out… Headphones. His headphones. Taking them quickly out of his hands, Spencer signs a simple, thank you, without realizing he’s done it. It feels easier than talking.

On most days, he could hide them. Or at least work his way around them well enough that the rest of the team would pretend not to notice his odd behaviour. Of course, they all knew by now, even though he’d only told Emily at first.
It was only a matter of time anyway. It’s hard to keep secrets when you’re surrounded by profilers everyday.
A migraine that strong would’ve been hard to manage on a quiet day at Quantico. Being stuck on the air only made things worse.
